Experienced, Professional and Caring. Dr.Shorey graduated from the University of Soutern California. He is an active member of his local dental society and dedicated to the continual pursuit of excellence. Dr. Shorey's office makes extensive use of Digital Photography. This is a useful medium for reviewing current oral health and to discuss areas of need. Utlizing dental photography takes the art of dentistry beyond the magnification of the human eye. Teamwork from doctor to dental lab is improved with the ability to see our patients and understand their cosmetic needs. In 1998 Dr.Shorey won the prestigious President's award from his local dental society for outstanding service. Dr. Shorey has chaired the SDDS Northern California Midwinter Conference bringing the top experts in the world to Sacramento to educate Northern California Dentists on the latest in Dental Techniques and health services. Currently Dr. Shorey is serving his dental society as Secretary. Formerly as Editor of the dental society Newsletter the "Nugget" was awarded best society newsletter in the state by the California Dental Association and in 2003 the publication received national recognition. Dr. Shorey is an expert in computer technology and its applications to dental diagnosis and services. He lectures and has written many articles on using computer technology in clinical dentistry. "Beyond Himself" Dr. Shorey has connected with other dental professionals to provide a higher service to his patients -- working with experts like Craig Dial, Dental Radiologist, Dr. Nicky Hakimi, Periodontist and Implant Specialist, Dr.Donna Galante, orthodontist and Dr. Barry Hoffman, Prosthodontist provides the opportunity to review his patient's dental needs with greater vision and input. |
